An Autumn Walk in Clumber Park 7/7

On 9th.October we paid another visit to Clumber Park, near Nottingham, a National Trust property, and had a nice Autumn walk along the lake and back through the woodland.  The light was excellent and, using the new G10 once again, this weeks postings are a few of the shots I took on that walk. Details of Clumber Park are at http://www.nationaltrust.org.uk/main/w-clumber_park-2 .

And so nearly back to where we started out by the chapel in the grounds which seems to tower above the surrounding woodland quite nicely.

Another great shot Brian of a very lovely park
Brian Walbey: Thanks very much Linda.
Magical, Brian. They look to be impressive grounds. I keep thinking I've been to Clumber Park for the RAC car rally years ago whne the Audi Quattros were all the rage and winning everything. Never saw this part of the park, though.
Brian Walbey: Thanks Alan. A quick Google tells me Clumber Park was used for the 1993 RAC Rally, that would be about the time of the Quattros I would think.
These kind of places are one of the things I like most in Britain. Good shot.
Brian Walbey: I think you would enjoy Clumber Albert, thanks for your comment.
