photoblog image An Autumn Walk in Clumber Park 4/7

An Autumn Walk in Clumber Park 4/7

On 9th.October we paid another visit to Clumber Park, near Nottingham, a National Trust property, and had a nice Autumn walk along the lake and back through the woodland.  The light was excellent and, using the new G10 once again, this weeks postings are a few of the shots I took on that walk. Details of Clumber Park are at http://www.nationaltrust.org.uk/main/w-clumber_park-2 .

Towards the end of the lake this tree, and the ground around it, just seemed to be crying out to be photographed.

The carpet of freshly dropped leaves make it even more so.

Lovely contrast between the wind-ruffled water and the carpet of leaves. Beautiful.
Ingrid
Brian Walbey: Thanks Ingrid. I especially like the colour and texture of the water in this shot, and the contrast with the leaves works well IMHO.
This is my favourite so far, the setting and colours are perfect.

Nicely photograph fall of leaves, gently scattered over a slope by a river/lake. Bravo Brian.
Brian Walbey: The epitome of autumn is how this struck me Chad.

I love the carpet of bronzed leaves, Brian. I can just imagine walking through them.
Brian Walbey: They covered quite an area Alan, thanks for your comment.

Son all the leaves will be gone, fine autumn colours Brian.
