photoblog image An Autumn Walk in Clumber Park 3/7

An Autumn Walk in Clumber Park 3/7

On 9th.October we paid another visit to Clumber Park, near Nottingham, a National Trust property, and had a nice Autumn walk along the lake and back through the woodland.  The light was excellent and, using the new G10 once again, this weeks postings are a few of the shots I took on that walk. Details of Clumber Park are at http://www.nationaltrust.org.uk/main/w-clumber_park-2 .

Once again I used my favourtie model to walk along the bank as we headed out along the lake down to the woodland further along.

Lovely spot.

Puff...pufff...puffff

Is your favourite model running, Brian...I am having trouble keeping up.
Brian Walbey: Lol. Thanks Ray, she gets along quicker than I do, sadly both her hips are going to need replacing sooner or later, and she always used to enjoy long walks with our local ramblers group, but can't do it any more.
This looks like a very nice place to get some fresh air ,I can see you have those beautifull white swans along the bank ,and your lovely model making a hasty retrate down the track, just kiding Brian, have a grate day you two.
Brian Walbey: Thanks Cheryl, my lovely model does sometimes get fed up with me stopping for photos though, you would think after 38 years she would be used to that.

Your favorite model has quite a following, I see, Brian! smile
Brian Walbey: I think the expression is "like a duck to water" Ginnie, I have been following her for 41 years now all told, and she still doesn't do what I tell her, typical female smile
nice spot.
Perth is full of nice parks.
Not many have so much water though...
Cheers
Rob
Brian Walbey: It is a lovely place Rob and, including the forest, covers a massive area, in British terms that is.

Making sure she gets her exercise mate, how many shots did you do before you were happy tongue
Brian Walbey: She used to love walking Tony but sadly both her hips are dodgy nowadays and will have to be replaced so she doesn't walk a lot now. She got this one right at the first taking, she's an old hand, so to speak, by now.

Lovely shot
Brian Walbey: I brought her lunch Tracy, and she had the pleasure of my company smile what more could she want smile Thanks for your comment.
Hi to supermodel Maureen!
Brian Walbey: She really enjoyed this Bill as did I, her dodgy hips don't allow her to walk a lot these days, but for both of us this was a great morning out.
Looks nice, but chilly.
Brian Walbey: It was a lovely morning Sheila but there was a cool autumn breeze out in the open areas.

A day to stride out Brian
Brian Walbey: A perfect Autumn morning Chris, I am sure you and your two compatriots would enjoy a day out here, sadly it is a long way from you though.

I hope she will receive a share in the royalties if you sell any of these pictures!
Ingrid
Brian Walbey: I brought her lunch after the walk Ingrid, as usual, and we had three days at Warners Thoresby hall nearby, so I think we both done well out of this outing.
What a wonderful spot Brian. I would love to have a walk there!
Brian Walbey: I think this, including all the forest areas, would be right up your street Richard, going by the pictures you show us of where you go.

The choppy water makes me think it was a slightly chilly day
Brian Walbey: There was a "brisk" breeze Ellie, but such a lovely autumn morning.
This reminds me of a painting. Lovely.
Brian Walbey: Thanks very much Mary.
This is a lovely place for a stroll, Your photo's have made it a place to visit Brian.
Brian Walbey: Thanks Linda, we liked it here.
Nice to see you and Maureen doing the rounds together Brian. It does look a nice place to wander around.

You old flatterer, Brian! Plenty of wildlife, too, to give this added interest. A very pleasant place it looks, too.
Brian Walbey: It's a very nice place Alan, I hope your not calling my Maureen wildlife smile

Looks like a lovely place, Brian. That lake looks huge!
Brian Walbey: It is a lovely place harv and yes, the lake is very big.
This is my type of walk
Brian Walbey: I get the impression that a lot of our SC friends would like to do this walk Martin.
I like this image much less due to:
- the woman doesn't look nice
- rather dull colors
- the sky looks odd
- lots of noise in the sky

Composition is pretty good.
Brian Walbey: Glad you like the compsition Paul, if not the reat. The lady is my wife by the way, I can assure you she is very nicesmile
