photoblog image Seen And Heard 3/7

Seen And Heard 3/7

This series of seven pictures were all taken in Hebden Bridge or Haworth, Yorkshire during our recent weekend trip by coach.  All the images came out of my new Canon Powershot G10, the first real chance I have had of using it seriously.

You could hear these chaps before you could see them whilst walking up the street in Haworth.  They sounded really good and plenty of photographers were getting through memory cards like wildfire across the street.

There are two more street musician shots to come from Haworth in this series.

A beauty, Brian.

I really like the eccentricity of their "costumes".
Brian Walbey: Thanks Ray, I think they slightly "under-dressed" for the occasion.

They're clearly having a blast, Brian. I love it.
Brian Walbey: Thanks Ginnie. There was a choir further up the street, watch this space smile
Nice one Brian. Street musicians are great subjects
Brian Walbey: Thanks Bill, and this lot sounded good as well.
They all looks as if they're have fun and enjoying themselves. But looking at the case on the ground only the photographers were appreciating them.
Brian Walbey: The trouble was that there quite a few street musicians along the street Sheila, all competing for the loose change I suppose.

Great photo the good thing about this that street performer don't mined being snaped
Brian Walbey: That's right vintage, it makes candid work a lot easier.
Only occasionally have I seen these artists in Carmarthen..when I haven't got the camera with me! and they do sound good.I must remember next time I go. Nice Brian.
Brian Walbey: Thanks Ron, and don't forget the camera.

A real eclectic mix, Brian. I always thought that if I would play in an orchestra, I'd play the triangle - it makes travelling a lot simpler than lugging a double bass (?) around smile
Brian Walbey: Lol. I couldn't agree more Alan, thanks for your comment.
Great shot Brian. I'm sure they sounded as good as they looked.
Brian Walbey: Thanls Janet, they did sound very good.
The Bonus is you get a Tan. Nice one Brian
Brian Walbey: Yes indeed Martin. Thanks for your comment.
