Seahouses Shoreline 4 of 5

The small coastal town of Seahouses has a lovely beach and looks out to some small islands a short way out to sea.  This is one of five images taken from almost the same spot, but each with a slightly different viewpoint.

I think I prefer this to yesterday's Brian, the fence really helps in the composition.
Brian Walbey: Thanks again Les, the path through the fence was a natural lead in.

You know how to please this viewer, Brian...more than 50% of this gorgeous picture is dune grass.
Brian Walbey: Thanks very much Ray.

Nice beach there Brian but I can see it is very tidal
Brian Walbey: The tide comes up almost to below where I am standing Chris but it is a lovely beach.

I'm enjoying this series very much Brian, and not a collage in sight!
Ingrid
Brian Walbey: Thanks Ingrid, but oh dear! I have got some collages next week, you will probably see why, but I promise, no more until at least November after that, I am posted up to then.
The scenes I look for Brian. Nicely composed with the foreground grasses.
Brian Walbey: Thanks very much Ron.

Great series of captures Brian,Seahouses is beautiful place if you love the sea and sand dunes.Costal erosion is a problem but it looks like they are looking after the dunes well.Did you enter your posting 10/09/2009 in the club competition? i hope it did well for you.
Brian Walbey: Thanks very much Graham, yes Seahouses is a nice place. The competition is in about 3 weeks time, I will mention how I get on after that, unless I come last of course!
