Cotswold Collages - 13/15

I took a lot of photos during our trip to the Cotswolds in early July.  I am now presenting photos of the area in a series of 15 collages over three weeks which I hope you will enjoy.  They have been mixed up a bit to hopefully retain your interest and each individual photo has been processed using Topaz.

Not far from Moreton-in-Marsh is the small village of Blockley where these gardens can be found.  They are not formal in layout but are very attractive at the same time.  In the conservatory is all the ingredients to prepare ones own lunch or drinks with an honesty box and it was great sitting out in the garden enjoying lunch.

Honesty boxes just make you want to be honest, Brian, don't they. smile So does this place!
Brian Walbey: It was a lovely place Ginnie and we really enjoyed sitting in the garden by the lake eating our lunch in the sunshine.
You should definately go into the postcard bsiness Brian, you seem to have a flair for it.
Brian Walbey: Thanks very much Chad.

I haven't been to this charming place Brian - but I will make amends!
Brian Walbey: The gardens are informal but attractive Chris, and the village is quite nice, if you can find a parking space!
Have to agree with Chad Brain, I can just see your pictures in a wire rack outside the shops in the Cotswolds. A fine series.
Brian Walbey: Thanks Les. I would fel very proud if my pictures were as you say.

This is close to where I live and I've often seen the sign for these gardens but never visited. Looks a fine place.
Ingrid
Brian Walbey: They are simple but nice gardens Ingrid. If you ever get that way I'm sure you would enjoy them, even without a camera, but just to stroll.
Lovely stuff Brian. Don't know this place at all but it looks worth a visit
Brian Walbey: Thanks Bill. These gardens are well worth a visit, simple and informal but nice on a sunny day.

Lovely
Brian Walbey: Thanks vintage.
I like the idea of a do-it-yourself lunch and the honesty box; something that we should accept as the norm but now such a rarity. Looks like you had good weather for your visit.
Brian Walbey: We had a lovely day for our visit Alan, and the lunch was excellent as well.
great little postcard of these gardens.
details and landscapes from a distance make an interesting story with no words
Cheers
Rob
Brian Walbey: Thanks very much Rob.
Looks like an ideal location for a spot of lunch Brian.
Brian Walbey: It was very pleasant in someone else's garden Janet.
Lovely pictures Brian..and i agree..they would make great postcards.
Brian Walbey: A lot of people talk about the postcard thing Ron, it is pleasing to know that the iamges are liked that much.

Another fine selection. Postcards that will definitely sell smile
Brian Walbey: Perhpas if I were a few years younger I might try and sell some of these for postcards, these days though I can't be bothered with all the hassle.

So when are you putting the collection of postcards up for sale? :o)
Brian Walbey: Thanks Jennie. I said to SAVO that these days I am too old to want to get involved with postcards but it is nice to know some of you think them worthy of that.
Great collage. You have beautiful gardens in Britain.
Brian Walbey: Thanks Alabert. This is one of the smaller British Gardens, but on the whole we are very lucky throughout the country to have lovely gardens, both formal and informal.
Very nice, well done on this collage as well.
Brian Walbey: Thanks very much Sheila.
