photoblog image Cotswold Collages - 11/15

Cotswold Collages - 11/15

I took a lot of photos during our trip to the Cotswolds in early July.  I am now presenting photos of the area in a series of 15 collages over three weeks which I hope you will enjoy.  They have been mixed up a bit to hopefully retain your interest and each individual photo has been processed using Topaz.

My original series from Bourton a few weeks back was of the river running though the town centre.  This is a collage of some of my other shots taken at the same time, early in the morning before most of the tourists had arrived.

A river runs through it, Brian! It's lovely.
Brian Walbey: Thanks Ginnie, the river is what makes the place so famous.

Brian, this is a wonderful collage. I'm enjoying the series.
Brian Walbey: Thanks very much Kay.
Amazing how much nice stuff is close by.
Probably is here too.
Must go looking
Cheers
Rob
Brian Walbey: Thanks Rob. It's amazing that very often we don't go out and photograph things on our doorsteps, familiarity I suppose.

Very restful Briian - but I think it's Bourton On The Water
Brian Walbey: Thanks Chris. The old adage "There's none so blind as cannot see" applies here I think.

I believe they play a game of football in the river every year, nice collection Brian.
Brian Walbey: I seem to remember reading that somewhere Les, thanks for your comment.
I know we have had some wet weather but Bourton hasn't sunk yettongue Another fine collage sir!
Brian Walbey: Thanks Bill, I never noticed that spelling mistake until Chris pointed it out.

I was wondering where the hordes of tourists were till I read your introduction! This place is too pretty for its own good.
Ingrid
Brian Walbey: Thanks Ingrid. I made the most of the lack of early vistors and then moved off to another place a good deal quieter.
Definitely worth getting up early to get a full appreciation of the place Brian. Nice collage.
Brian Walbey: Thanks very much Janet.

I can well understand that so many tourists want to visit this picturesque Bourton, little Venice in the Cotswolds as I assume. I have been there many years ago, fotographed while standing on one of those bridges!
Brian Walbey: I'm so glad to hear you have been here Philine, I hope you enjoyed your visit as much as we did ours.
It could well be 'in the water' Brian.
Brian Walbey: I did wonder if they get any flooding in the winter Chad if there is heavy rain.
beautiful light Brian, everything seems so clear even in the smaller size photos, you got a great time of day for these shots!
Brian Walbey: I was very lucky Ryan, the light was so clear before all the exhausts of visiting vehicles added their pollution.
You have some good pics here Brian..Some are worthy as a post on their own merits. Nice collage.
Brian Walbey: Thanks very much Ron.
All the collages are nice Brian, and I'm not losing interest yet.
Brian Walbey: Thanks Sheila, this series finishes on Friday.
picture post card material all the way Briansmile
Brian Walbey: Thanks very much Tim.
