photoblog image Cotswold Collages - 5/15

Cotswold Collages - 5/15

I took a lot of photos during our trip to the Cotswolds in early July.  I am now presenting photos of the area in a series of 15 collages over three weeks which I hope you will enjoy.  They have been mixed up a bit to hopefully retain your interest and each individual photo has been processed using Topaz.

There is a very attractive church in Bourton-on-the-Water named after St.Lawrence and good shots of it can be made from all sides as this collage shows.  I will show a collage with pictures of the inside in a few days time.

Mighty fine montage, Brian. Even the sky is excellent.
Brian Walbey: Thanks Ray, and it is the actual sky, not one from Chris's shed.

Such wonderful Buildings
Brian Walbey: Thanks vintage, the only thing was that surrounding buildings stopped me getting a full view of the whole church.

You and Tiff seem to like steam engines and churches. Perhaps the two go togther but God knows how. Can't believe I just said that.
Brian Walbey: Well I did feature the loco that was owne dby the Rev.Teddy Biston last Friday chad, he was a well known vicar and train enthusiast as was Eric Treacy who was a Bishop.

Do you know, Brian.. I'm thinking you could bundle these together as a series of postcards then retail them through local gifts shops there. Perhaps the Church itself would be interested in this one.
Brian Walbey: Thanks Alan. You might well be right but to be honest I don't think I could be bothered with all the hassle these days to sort it out.
I have seen the light!! tongue This lovely collage and ur series of church shots, has inspired me to go looking for church shots in my local.
Just a shame that during the recent property boom, a lot of them were converted into up market posh apartments. At least their inhabitants can sleep at night knowing there's a god watching over them tongue
Brian Walbey: Thanks very much for your comment fotografa. The good think about churches is that they are all different and even if one isn't religious they architecture and so on can still be appreciated. Go for it and see what you come up with.
This is a great series.
All this collage stuff is inspiring me for an Africa one.....
excellent stuff
Cheers
Rob
Brian Walbey: Thanks Rob. Go on and give the collage a try, it is surprising how much Photoshop skill is needed to get collages looking just right.
