photoblog image Cotswolds Collages - 2/15

Cotswolds Collages - 2/15

I took a lot of photos during our trip to the Cotswolds in early July.  I am now presenting photos of the area in a series of 15 collages over three weeks which I hope you will enjoy.  They have been mixed up a bit to hopefully retain your interest and each individual photo has been processed using Topaz.

The second collage in the series features some of the many shoppers in the small town of Broadway, including, in two of the pictures, Maureen seeing what she can spend our money on.  I didn't notice until later the woman at the window in the top left image which I feel adds to the picture.

Really like the wonky insert on the right, Brian...adds heaps to the layout, IMHO.
Brian Walbey: Thanks Ray, it was the only way I could getthat image and the text to fit.
The ultimate chocolate box village. Nice set of pictures Brian
Brian Walbey: Thanks very much Bill.

And not one person looking at you Brian, well done
Brian Walbey: I'm still a bit shy about taking pictures of people when they are looking at me Tony, here it works that they aren't.
Another beautiful collage Brian. I like that they are all window shopping!
Brian Walbey: Thanks very much Richard.

Good collection of photo I like the top left most
Brian Walbey: That's my favourtie as well vintage, I think it's the lady looking out of the top window.
Very nice Brian, yesterday and today. As you know I am fond of collages. I like these. Looking forward to the next 13.
Brian Walbey: Thanks very much Sheila, I hope you enjoy the rest.
Lovely old shops Brian..not many left now. Great use of the Topaz.
Brian Walbey: Thanks Ron, and most of the shops were touristy type ones.
nice country feel
agree with Ron on the topaz . . . .
I don't have that.....
hmm . . .
Cheers
Rob
Brian Walbey: Thanks Rob. The type of work you mainly present doesn't really need to have a Topaz adjustment being natural history IMHO, it stands on its own.
Broadway is great, if a little touristy.
Brian Walbey: I suppose that is about all there is to keep the place going Chad, thanks for your comment.

I had a very pleasant week near Broadway to celebrate end of the 20th century and the beginning of the 21st (a non-event!) and it was was full of visitors even at that time of year. I can't recall any decent camera shops so I hope Maureen came away with only some fruit and veg for the shop top left!
Brian Walbey: I managed to stop Maureen spending lots of money Alan, I always plead our pensions can't stand the expensesmile
Lovely place but it is a bit touristy.
Brian Walbey: Yes indeed Janet but I suppose it is the tourists that keep the place going.

It's nice to see it busy, and the shops getting lots of customers too
Brian Walbey: I should imagine the place is heaving at weekends Ellie, we were there midweek.
