Fountain At Arley Arboretum

The day after meeting Bill at Clent in April we went along to the arboretum at Arley, a small village on the banks of the River Severn between Kidderminster and Bridgnorth.

There is this quite delicate fountain there and I decided that it actually came over in a B&W presentation than in colour.

Delicate...more like a split in the garden hose than a fountain, Brian...B&W is nice choice.
Brian Walbey: Thanks Ray. We had a garden hose like this once smile
Very fine Brian. Still haven't paid this a visit!
Brian Walbey: Thanks Bill. Well worth a visit at the right time, I suspect Autumn looks good there.
I like the way you have caught the fall of the water.
Brian Walbey: Thanks Sheila.

Arley.. hmmm.. is there a station there for the Severn Valley Railway? I like the symmetry you've caught here. Once of those ducks needs to be the other side, though wink
Brian Walbey: There is a delightful little station just down the road from here in Arley Alan. I perhaps should have cloned out one of the ducks on reflection (not a pun!)

Very pleasant little water feature Brian. Looks a calming spot.
Brian Walbey: It was a lovely area to sit and walk Janet even at the end of April.

I'd never thought of water or fountains as "delicate" but I can see it now! Looks like a nice, calming place to relax and unwind.
Brian Walbey: Thanks Mia. Yes it was a really nice place, very peaceful and all the spring flowers were out because this was in April.

The water droplets have a silvery hue to them. Enchanting.
Brian Walbey: Thanks very much Chad.
