Thrumpton Hall Revisited

I am returning to the "Miscellaneous Folder" for a while.

You might remember my series earlier this year of the Easter Country Fair in the grounds of this house.  This is a closer view of the back of the house that I posted on 16th.May that looked like this http://brianaw.shutterchance.com/photoblog/Thrumpton_Hall%2C_Nottinghamshire_/

Unfortunately I was suffering from a grey sky when this as taken.

We get grey skies in UK, we have to live with them. It makes the perfect foil for the rich colours of the brickwork and the lovely spring flowers
Brian Walbey: Thanks very much Ellie.

Interesting shot, Brian.

The sky does not bother me.

The set garden is so unlike Thai gardens.
Brian Walbey: Thanks Ray.
There is always Chris's shed if you need a skygrin Nice shot of a fine building
Brian Walbey: I've got a little secret sky folder on my PC if I need one Bill. Thanks for your comment.

I like the processing on this though some sky would be nicesmile
Brian Walbey: Thanks Stan. I felt the lighting generally wasn't suitable for a substitute sky in this one.

Very nice Brian but the sky needs a good twiddle
Brian Walbey: Thanks Chris. Not enough in the sky to twiddle with and a substitute would have looked out of place here I think.

It is good to see that not all gardens are simply laid to lawn.
Brian Walbey: It's quite an attractive layout when all of the garden is in view Chad.
