photoblog image Back To Front

Back To Front

I recently showed a series of semi-candids I took at Kedleston Hall near Derby with the subjects all dressed in 40's clothes.

I did try a few other "proper" candids and this is two of them put together of these two couples listening to the two girls singing 40's songs I showed on June, 13th.

Another people shot tomorrow taken somewhere else.

Interesting post, Brian...it seems like the is more detail in the story when you shoot and display the same folks but from different angles.
Brian Walbey: Something a bit different Ray, thanks for your comment.
Very nice Brian. I like the two opposite angles!
Brian Walbey: Thanks Richard.

I think one guy has caught you.
Brian Walbey: I think you might be right mary, I turned away quickly, I'm not used to doing candid.
You must be a slow walker as the sun went in by time you changed position? Lol
Brian Walbey: I hadn't noticed that aspect Martin, there was a few minutes between the shots.

Interesting front and rear views of people enjoying the singing (or enduring the singing wink. Good to see that these are "normal"-sized people; not too many signs of a McDonald's diet here!
Brian Walbey: Thanks Alan, I suspect these people are like me, not of the McDonald's generation.

Yes, Bill is right, funny idea to show the front and rear parts of the same couples! The pic looks rather familiar to me- if I didn't see the British flag, I could believe to be in my own country- often men like to cross their hands on the back! Do you know why? The fashion is the same like here- ladies prefer to wear confy trousers, shirts, and sandals, dresses and skirts seem to die out!
Brian Walbey: Isn't it nice to know that we all are all comfortable in the same clothes Philine and I cross my hands behind me, I don't know why but it drives my wife Maureen mad.
Yeah...nice candids Brian.. It looks a real lazy day.
Brian Walbey: Thanks Ron, it was a great day out. If you want to know what they were looking at, which I posted while you were away I think, look back to my 8th.to 14th.June series.
Interesting concept Brian and a fine lazy day out to boot.
Brian Walbey: It was a lovely day Les, thanks for your comment.
Nice to see the same people from 2 different angles.
Brian Walbey: Thanks for your comment Sheila.
