Kedleston Bridge 2 of 5

Moving away from the area in front of Kedleston Hall near Derby across the parkland I have gone a bit nearer the very attractive bridge across the river running through the park.

I like the crop here, Brian.

And the sheep, at their picnic!
Brian Walbey: Thanks Ray, the sheep make good obstacles to avoid driving through the parkland.

That one way to keep the grass down and environmentally friendly
Brian Walbey: There was quite a few sheep about Tony, thanks for your comment.
This conjures up the beauty of the English landscape but also serves as a reminder of the gulf in wealth which existed between a few ruling elite and the many.
Brian Walbey: I remarked to Albert that one person/family use to own this Cahd, how times change.
Well composed shot Brian. It will be interesting to see the changing perspectives
Brian Walbey: Thanks Bill, I hope you find the rest of the series agreeable.
Nice landscape. Is that a weir I see under the bridge?
Brian Walbey: Thanks Sheila, could well be a weir, all will be revealed by Friday smile
A few years since I was last here Brian, doesn't look to have changed too much perhaps the sheep are different. Like the letterbox format, really suits the image.
Brian Walbey: Thanks very much Les.
Wonderful capture Brian. I really like your crop here!
Brian Walbey: Thanks Richard, the crop seemed to work with this particular shot.
I wouldn't mind a view like this from my front door! I saw that the "lawnmowers" are busy smile
Brian Walbey: Who wouldn't like a view like this Alan, mind you I wouldn't want to have to pay for the upkeep, "lawnmowers" aside.
..although one seems to be asleep!
Brian Walbey: It was very warm, we felt like a sleep after a walk through the park.
Lovely again
Brian Walbey: Thanks Albert
That is a damn attractive bridge for sure....
very nice
Cheers
Rob
Brian Walbey: Thanks very much Rob.

Your images make me want to move to the countryside... smile
Brian Walbey: You could do a lot worse than some of our English countryside Mia.

Brian Walbey: Thanks Tim.
A very attractive vista Brian
Brian Walbey: Thanks very much Pamela.
