photoblog image The Old Bank

The Old Bank

In 2003 we had a holiday on Lake Garda in Northern Italy and one of the daytrips out was to Verona, the city famous for Romeo and Juliet and the open air opera which takes place in the old Roman Arena.

This was taken from inside the arena looking out of one of the large window areas and is an old bank that is several stories high and has seen better days.

Once again we reach the weekend, my next post is on Monday when you will see the start of a new series which is something completely different to anything you have seen me do much of before. Have a good weekend.

This is one of the few places I've been to in Italy. We were staying near Venice and had a coach trip to the lake and to Verona.. loved it. You got a good shot here of the fascinating architecture.
Brian Walbey: Thanks Alan, we really enjoyed our holiday in that area and would love to go back but sadly some health issues would make that difficult these days.
I love the little logia on the roof.
Brian Walbey: Thanks for telling me what that is called Chad, it is nice I agree.
Fermé! Quelles sont les heures d'ouverture ? wink
Brian Walbey: Thanks for your comment.
