photoblog image Rocks and Waves

Rocks and Waves

I am still dipping in to the "Miscellaneous Folder" for a while to present some images, both old and new, on a variety of subjects unless anything alse comes along in the meanwhile.

Taken at Ilfracombe down among the rocks through "The Tunnels" there are plenty of opportunities for shots whatever the state of the tide.

I could quick myself for missing this opportunity was I was down that way in March. I can image that these gets quite a pounding when the wind is up.

Looks like a great place for exploring. Careful that you don't get cut off by the tide1

A rough, wild coastline in North Devon- and I imagine to hear the rushingand hitting of the waves against the rocks- a fascinating perspective that gives me the feeling to be so near to the sea that I could get wet! I love how you have captured the natural, fluid, foaming quality and colour of the water! I look forward to the next pics.
Brian Walbey: Thanks Philine, I would imagine this isn't quite so pleasant in a winter gale.
I bet the sea thgundered snd crashed amongst these rocks Brian.
Brian Walbey: Certainly did Chad, but compared with the winter it was probably fairly calm.
