photoblog image Clent Hills Excursion 3/5

Clent Hills Excursion 3/5

In this collage of images taken during our visit to the Clent Hills with Bill the week before last the images on the left show the Bluebells just starting to appear, no doubt by now they will be giving a much better display.

We came upon the two horse riders on one of the paths and Bill said that Clent is a popular venue for people to ride out their horses.

Excellent work again, Brian.

Small point...something about the colours in picture bottom left draw my attention in an uncomplimentary way...not sure if it is the position of the sun or if your PP engine went a bit "cuckoo"?
Brian Walbey: Thanks Ray, I don't know about the bottom left either, the contrast was huge with possible overexposure and in trying to rescue it this is how it turned out.

It's totally idyllic, Brian. One day I want to see it with my own eyes.
Brian Walbey: Thanks Ginnie, I hope that one day you will go here, isuspect you will if Bill and Astrid have anything to do with it.
Another delightful collage Brian.
Brian Walbey: Thanks Bill.

I see what Ray means - this picture jars a little compared to the warm tones of the others.
Ingrid
Brian Walbey: Thanks Ingrid, your are right, I tried a "rescue" job on the bottom left which didn't really work.

Looks like you had a good trip to the hills Brian, excellent collages
Brian Walbey: It was a great trip Tony, bit of a long way for you to go there though smile
Another wonderful collage Brian. Well done!
Brian Walbey: Thanks Richard.
Another job nicely done Brian..Your getting very good at this work. Excellent.
Brian Walbey: Thanks Ron, if you look back through my archive you will see quite a lot of collages, in fact I am posting another lot next week on a different subject.
such a great series.
nice job
Cheers
Rob
Brian Walbey: Thanks for your comment Rob.
I quite like the psychedelic effect in bottom left.
Brian Walbey: Thanks Janet, it wasn't meant to be psychedelic, it just went wrong!

Lovely views of the Clent Hills- I like the pic bottom left, the wood looks a bit like a fairy tale wood where kind dwarfs could come round the corner in order to bring some bacon butties!
Brian Walbey: Thanks Philine, I hadn't thought about the wood in the same context as yourself. It's not far to the bacon butties from this spot.
I haven't got a big interest in Dwarfs like Philine but a bacon sandwich with cooked tomatoes in it would be fine. richard
Brian Walbey: The bacon butties with four sausages, yes four, added I can well recommend Richard.
