Clent Hills Excursion 1/5

You may recall we met Bill at Clent Hills the week before last and this week will be a presentation of some of the images I took while we were there, leading up to the inevitable (apparently) finale of any visit there, on Friday!

I took so many and rather than do a long series of similar shots I have put a selection in to five collages, the first of which you see above.

I like "lone tree" images and while these don't perfectly match that description I felt they were near enough to be portrayed together.

A celebration of "loners".

This is excellent Brian: I like the notion that you have not included Bill's image. I wouldn't have either...
Brian Walbey: Thanks Chris, as to Bill, well the series does go on to Friday, I will say no more!

wonderful tree studies- I think a new aspect of the beautiful Clent Hills that Bill didn't show us- I assume you three have sat on the bench uphills in order to look at these pretty trees!
Brian Walbey: Thanks Philine, we didn't sit on these benches but we certainly did one of the others, some of the hills are a bit steep for an old fellow like me!
Has Bill Phillips been showing you how not to frame...only joking Brian. Glad you enjoyed it.
Brian Walbey: Thanks Chad, we did enjoy it and some of my other images follow during the week.
Lovely collage Brian, I am looking forward to the rest of the series!
Brian Walbey: Thanks Bill, I hope you enjoy the rest.

Wonderful collage.
Brian Walbey: Thanks Astrid, I had the Bacon and Sausage Buttie, it had at least four sausages in it, I was "podged" after eating it.
Nice collage Brian
Brian Walbey: Thanks for your comment Albert.
I thought of doing a collage like this but of the four seasons, as of yet not got round to it. the different skies you've caught, lovely pictures.
Brian Walbey: Thanks Martin, collages are good fun, I look forward to seeing yours when you get round to it.

This is a great time of year for trees. Well captured Brian
Brian Walbey: Thanks Janet, I saw some great trees near home on Saturday but the weather hasn't been good enough since to do them justice with my camera unfortunately.
