Oaks-in-Charnwood 5/6

Taken on 21st.March during our visit to the St.James parish church of Oaks-in-Charnwood, a small village near to us.

Whilst the daffodils at the back of the church were in the shade those in the road outside were picking up a bit more of the lovely morning sunshine, although there were still some shadows from the trees behind the church wall.

This really is my kind of church, Brian...as opposed to the huge cathedrals. I am my father's daughter, after all. smile
Brian Walbey: I like all types of church, chapel and cathedral Ginnie but this is a lovely little one.

Add a picnic blanket on the grass, an ice-box with a few cold'uns, and a portable BBQ...pretty soon you have a highly attractive spot in the viewfinder, Brian. [grin]
Brian Walbey: The tinnies might not go down o.k.with the minister Ray but it is a nice area to relax in.
