Bradgate Park - The Postcard

You may have looked in and seen all five of these pictures during the week but here I have used them all to produce a postcard presentation.

This was done for a new competition in my Camera Club which was to produce a postcard, size A4, with a minimum of two images, and I felt this set of five fitted the bill nicely. Fortunately so did the other members and this was selected as the winner although the competition did produce some very strong collages throughout.

Back on Monday, until then, enjoy the weekend.

Very well done Brian on both counts, the comp and the collage
Brian Walbey: Thanks very much Tony.
Congratulations on the competition Brian, the first thing that struck me on seeing this was you had scanned in a postcard. Nicely done.
Brian Walbey: Definitely all my own work Les. As a fun evening this worked well as an activity in the Club and each member presented a small talk about where, why and how they produced their A4 postcard, after the secet ballot, and before the first three were announced. We are repeating it next season.

Well deserved win Brian. You could develop this into a series of four: Spring, Summer and Winter as well as Autumn.
Brian Walbey: Thanks for that idea, perhaps I might think of doing that.
Well doe Brian. This has the authentic look of a picture postcard
Brian Walbey: Thanks Bill, I have put this in a frame today to put up in the house somewhere.
Very convincing.

Now you went commercial, Brian. I guess next step would be to submit this to the Leicestershire Bureau of Tourism. smile
Brian Walbey: I hadn't thought of that idea, worth a try if I can find somewhere to send it. Thanks for your comment.
Well done; it does work well. I think the centre one and top right are probably the strongest
Brian Walbey: Thanks Mark, they are the two i like best as well.
