photoblog image A Walk in Bradgate Park 3/5

A Walk in Bradgate Park 3/5

Moving North through Bradgate Park in Leicestershire a well worn path goes off to the left and leads in a circular route to the hill upon which stands a folly called the Old John.  Details of that can be found at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Old_John

This picture has been processed using a touch of Topaz, but hopefully not overdone.

This must be great to walk here and smell the air, the wind and have the sun in the face, happy walks here Brian.
Great pircture.
Brian Walbey: It is a lovely place to walk Astrid, families flock there at the weekends, particularly from the cities like Leicester nearby.

Doesn't look to processed to me Brian, but l do love topaz smile
Brian Walbey: Thanks Tony, I'm learning a touch of Topaz is better than a load, if you know what I mean.
Evoctive mix of dark cloud and sunlight. So British.
Brian Walbey: Thanks Chad.

I'm not normally keen on the Topaz processing but this is lovely - just a hint of softness. The colours are divine.

Brian Walbey: Thanks Ingrid, I think the touch of Topaz has added something, I'm learning not to overdo it.

This looks remarkably like Petworth Park in West Sussex. Nice photo.
Brian Walbey: Thanks Harv, I've heard of Petworth but haven't ever been there, Bradgate is a lovely place to go.

A cracking view, Brian. Loads of interest here to enjoy under a great sky, too.
Brian Walbey: Your sort of place I suspect Alan, there are three distinct areas of landscape in the 800 odd acres, you would have a ball here I think on a good day.

Not overdone at all Brian: it make the picture come to life
Brian Walbey: Thanks Chris
A superb landscape Brian. The colours are divine!
Brian Walbey: Thanks Richard
It has certainly added a bit of zip to the sky Brian. Used subtly Topaz is very useful, as it has been here...great fun when you overdo it tootongue
Brian Walbey: I've got a couple of overdone images Bill, one is going into a Club competition next week just to get the judge going smile
Stunning capture of this beautiful landscape. Reminds me of a painting or a picture that should hang on a living room wall. Excellent composition.
Brian Walbey: Thanks for your very nice comment John.

Don,t know of topaz,it has worked well on this already attractive image
Brian Walbey: Topaz is a Photoshop plu-in Conrad, unfortunately not free though. This is a slight use of it but it can give some very strong effects especially HDR type ones. Thanks for your comment.
Great use of Topaz...and its not overdone at all..Infact its beautiful Brian
Brian Walbey: Thanks very much Ron.
certainly not as much as my skin tones Briansmile, great stuffsmile
Brian Walbey: Thanks for your comment Tim.
YOU PROCESSED IT ALL RIGHT. NOT EXCESSIVE AT ALL.
Brian Walbey: Thanks very much Albert.

Processing is fine, Brian...not your usual style, though.
Brian Walbey: Thanks Ray, sometimes it is good to do something different.
I love that sky!
Brian Walbey: Thanks Pam, it did get a little help from Topaz.
