photoblog image A Winter Walk

A Winter Walk

After going to the Garden Centre where yesterdays picture came from we went on to Lount Nature Reserve, near Ashby-de-la-Zouch for a pleasant walk in the lovely Winter sunshine. This was once a colliery site but it has been completely restored and the only evidence of its past are a few lengths of partly buried narrow gauge railway track.

I took these pictures of Maureen walking through the various footpaths through the woodland area of the reserve.  Tomorrow sees the first of a weeks series of "twiddles" which I hope you will enjoy and not take too seriously.

A lovely collage, Brian. I'm pleased to see that the sun was out for you. I hope you weren't thinking that you want to see the back of Maureen when you were taking these photos. wink
Brian Walbey: Thanks Alan, I told Maureen what you suggested, she said perhaps she wanted to see the back of me! Not after nearly 38 years I hope.
