photoblog image St.Davids Impression

St.Davids Impression

I posted a straight picture of St.David's Cathedral last Summer which looks like this http://brianaw.shutterchance.com/photoblog/St.Davids_Cathedral_%A3%21%3Bhash%A3%21%3B1_/

Since then have come across a free download called FotoSketcher with which I have done this version of the image.

The program allows one to change images to drawings, paintings or combinations of the two, and includes ready made frames to finish off with, although this is not one of them, you will see some of them at another time.

Sometimes programs such as this can rescue an image and save it from deletion but having now seen the original, then that was a fine image in its own right and was no need of any rescue. This treatment gives a different feel to the image; nicely done without being OTT
Brian Walbey: Thanks Alan, I chose this image just to try the software out and thought it might amuse you folks on SC.
I only have a day job Brian :-( ... But I bet you're having fun ;-)richard
Brian Walbey: This was quite a bit of fun to do. Thanks for your comment Richard.
