Sandringham #6

To complete this short series on Sandringham House in Norfolk this is the view that awaits you as you walk in to the grounds of the house through the public entrance.

It really is a great place to visit, next time perhaps we will take the tour inside the house as well.

Back on Monday, all being well, until then enjoy the rest of the weekend, and then, as they said on Monty Python, "now for something completely different."

It is a finely proportioned building, Brian.
Brian Walbey: Off to the right is another part of the house that is almost as big but is completely different in style. Thanks for your comment Chad.

Now that's what I call a lawn, Brian.
Brian Walbey: So do I Chad, I'm just glad I'm not the poor so and so who has to mow it.

I see you are at home, Brian I have to say you life in a wonderful place....(when our queen is at home the flag is out..that's why I know you are at home too)
This is a beautiful picture.
Brian Walbey: Lol I don't think I could afford to live here Astrid but it would be nice to have all those servants to look after Maureen and me. I'm glad you like my picture, it is a lovely place to go and see.
Great shot Brian: you can see how it has been extended over the years
Brian Walbey: Thanks Chris, yes it looks as though there have been several different phases of building over the years.

Makes me think more of a grand country hotel than Royal home. A fine place for HM to do her stuff on occasions.
Brian Walbey: It does seem very much like a country hotel as you suggest Alan, thanks for your comment.
