Solva

Back to pictures in the "Miscellaneous" folder for a while.

During our recent holiday to Tenby we drove down to St.Davids from where I showed some pictures of the cathedral some while ago.

On the way we stopped at this beautiful little inlet from the sea at a village called Solva.

As you will see from this link http://www.solva.net/ there is plenty to attract the holidaymaker to stop for a short while in this pretty little village

It looks a very agreeable place: captured on a nice day too
Brian Walbey: This is a lovely place Chris, unfortunately we only stopped for about half an hour, time for Maureen to buy a new sunhat!
And there is nothing wrong with the "Miscellaneous" folder, Brian.
Brian Walbey: Thanks Chad, I'm looking out a few more shots to put in the "miscellaneous" folder over the next few days.

I think we should all have a miscellaneous folder - it makes life more interesting never knowing what to expect!
Ingrid
Brian Walbey: Thanks Ingrid, to be honest I have run out of thenes a bit at the moment but hopefully people will enjoy what I am putting up anyway.

I like it. All of my folders are empty need to get out
Brian Walbey: I'm just in the stages of topping up my "miscellaneous" folder at the moment vintage.
Beautiful capture Brian. It seems to be a peaceful place!
Brian Walbey: It was lovely and peaceful Richard, a shame we didn't get time to walk along by the water out to the coast.

That's the sort of tranquil spot that I love. Gorgeous
Brian Walbey: It was very quiet Paul once you got away from the main road, we just didn't get much time there unfortunately.
Looks like you found a little gem here Brian, pity you couldn't stay longer.
Brian Walbey: Thanks Bill, the inlet goes right out to the sea. It was so quiet but the local craft shops etc.seemed to be the big attraction, Maureen even bought a new sun hat, and the pub sells "Brains" ales, I don't know if that is a mis-spelling smile
