Looks refreshing Brian. I bet the water was clear too? I know you should'nt but I love to drink from these streams(only if the water is clear of course).
Brian Walbey: I must admit I didn't taste the stream Tracy, too many sheep about, you never know where they might have "been!" Thanks for your comment.

My last experience of drinking from a stream was in Oban, Scotland and a little further up we came across a dead sheep in the water! That somehow dampened my outdoor tastes ha ha

A very picturesque composition, Brian. Makes me want to get my boots on and amble alongside the stream. Gorgeous tones and framing
Brian Walbey: Thanks Paul I remarked to Tracy about what sheep might have done in the stream. We were on a coach trip at the time so didn't have too much chance to walk but it is a nice area just above Aviemore near to Mountain Railway.

Mmmm.. I can imagine that theis would be very refreshing on a warm summer's day if just to dangle one's feet in, of course..

..having first made sure that you were UPSTREAM of where Floog was drinking from! smile
Brian Walbey: I've always been dubiuos about tasting these country streams Alan, we found a lovely one in Lathkill dale in the Peak District which has a good reputation but we declined. thyanks for your comment.

This is a very fine picture Brian, love the fileds and the water, must have been soulful to be out there.
Brian Walbey: Thanks Astrid, this is a lovely area in the mountains of Scotland, unfortunately it was a bit misty so my landscapes didn't come out very well.
Tracy's comment reminded me of camping many years ago on Exmoor and drinking the crystal cold water from a stream. Spoilt by later finding a dead sheep upstream. Nice picture Brian
Brian Walbey: Thanks Bill, we always steer clear of tasting this streams, you've given the perfect reason why.

It looks really, really nice, but I'll bet it was cold
Brian Walbey: Thanks Ellie, these mountain stream are always refreshing I imagine, that is if you want to chance drinking the water.
