Burnham Overy Staithe - The Village (2)

Several people commented on Monday when I posted this picture in a semi-panorama format that they would like to see a fuller frame version of it.

This is almost the whole image area ,and as you can see, there is rather a lot of empty foreground that I had cropped off in the original posting. I suppose it does give a better idea of the creek and surroundings running up through the marshes to the village, unfortunately the weather and lighting wasn't kind to photographers on that day, indeed it poured with rain shortly after this was taken.

The frame comes from a built in Macro in Serif PhotoPlus X2 by the way. I hope you still enjoy this picture as much as some of you seemed to on Monday.

Very picturesque Brian. Did Bill Phillips lend you the frame btw. lol
Brian Walbey: Thanks Chad, the frame was courtesy of Mr.Serif, much more respectable than some of Bill's monstrosities, especially those of his alta ego!
I like both, but prefer the narrow letterbox crop. I would like to see that version bigger! (No pleasing some people is there?)
Brian Walbey: Thanks Bill. I'm not going to post this a third time, not even for your very good self, but I'm glad you like it anyway. Why not take a trip up that way yourself sometime, I'm sure you will find plenty of opportunities like this.

A lovely presentation, Brian. WOuld make a great image for sale in a coffee shop up that way, I think.
Brian Walbey: Thanks Alan, and would you believe there is an excellent coffe shop just down the road who's afternoon speciality is a range of magnificent cakes!
