photoblog image Open and Shut

Open and Shut

Taken from a cruise boat on Lake Garda in 2003 this was the first floor of a house alongside one of the small piers we pulled in at.

I saw the two sets of doors, one open, and one shut, hence the title.  I will admit they were the other way round and didn't fit the title so I "flipped" the image during processing.

I will be back from holiday at the weekend and will try and catch up with comments and replies after that.

If you hadn't said we would never have known Brian smile I like the two colour look of this.
Brian Walbey: Thanks Bill, perhaps, as Ingrid says, the border is a bit too much on reflection.

I like door shots and this one makes you think about what is behind the doors. Good choice of subject, but I think the coloured border is unecessary - it distracts the eye away from the image - too fussy.

Brian Walbey: Your probably right about the border Ingrid, I was having a "play about with borders period" at the time.
