photoblog image Chapel Tower

Chapel Tower

This is the tower on the chapel at the Southgate Crematorium in North London.

It was a bit naughty and irreverent because we were there for my father-in-laws funeral and after taking pictures of the flowers for the family I just noticed this and clicked off a quick shot.  I'm sure poor old Charles wouldn't have minded.

I am away on holiday in Tenby for a few days now and have posted some pictures for you to look at during that time.  I will try and catch up with any comments and replies when I return.  Have a good weekend.

I believe there is beauty, and often humour at funerals. I did some video tape of the land around the crematorium where my grandmother went on the Isle of Wight, and felt a little bad about it. But, it was a beautiful place, and nan would not have minded.

Lovely photograph, such wonderful architecture. Enjoy your break, Brian
Brian Walbey: There is a beautiful white sculptured cross in front of the building. The whole place is quite picturesque as these places go.

I'm sure your father-in-law would not have minded; it's probably your wife you have to worry about! Enjoy Tenby - a lovely part of the world.
Brian Walbey: Thanks for your comment Alan, I think Maureen has forgiven me by now.
