Side by Side

We called in at the small Leicestershire village of Cadeby and there was a Flower Festival in the little village church a couple of years ago.

I saw these three gravestones in the churchyard on the way in and took a couple of shots later on.

I don't think they were all from the same family but it was the position of each to the other that caught my eye.

Not dissimilar to 3 other crosses from history, Brian. Good eye!
Brian Walbey: Thanks Ginnie. I really never thought of your suggestion, perhaps I had a sub-conscious moment, they come with age you know!
Well seen and captured Brian. I like the perspective and the tones!
Brian Walbey: Thanks Richard, something a bit different to my usual style, I'm glad people like it.

The tones are great. And the detail on the stones! Who needs HDR?
Brian Walbey: Thanks harv, I have yet to try HDR, probably because I'm lazy over using a tripod.
Good angle, strong composition.
Brian Walbey: Thanks Ian, I felt the composition was stronger at this angle rather than three crosses head on and side by side.
Always look on the bright side of life!
Brian Walbey: I hope to keep looking on the bright side a good few more years yet, as do you I presume.
