So here we go with this weeks theme which will include 16 photographs, in 5 collages, of the Catholic Church of Saint Giles in Cheadle, Staffordshire. I had read about this church, and its particularly ornate decoration, and as we passed through the town a couple of weeks ago we stopped to have a look.
There is a little box at the back in which you can deposit a £1 coin and all the lights come on for 20 minutes. I took 36 shots in that time without starting to get down to photographing the finer detail, all hand held and using only the flash on the camera.
We will move from the rear of the church to the High Altar during the week.
