photoblog image Coast #2 - High and Dry

Coast #2 - High and Dry

This was taken in North Devon in June, 2007 at Watermouth Bay when the tide was out.

As you do, I wandered about the floor of the harbour and got quite a few shots of this type, and this is the one I liked the best.

Unfortunately I only had my compact with me and not the DSLR but I still think it's o.k.

I think it's just fine and goes to show it's the photographer not the camera that's important smile
Brian Walbey: Thanks Ellie, actually this little compact was very good, unfortunately it packed in last Autumn. My new one isn't as good, it's a Cxxxn! Brian.

Ellie is so right here, I always say the same.
This picture is just great, love the deep colors in this one.
I always wonder if this is not harming the boat, to be out of the water every time...and lay on the ground, we have a lot of wooden boats/ships, I don't think it will do them good.
Brian Walbey: I suppose these boats need a certain amount of water to stop the wood drying out Atrid. Glad you like my picture. Brian.
