photoblog image Chatsworth Falls

Chatsworth Falls

The other Chatsworth picture this week is of the base of the famous waterfall in the gardens.

So often you see photos of the whole thing but I concentrated on this small area which fits nicely into a letterbox format.

Again, I feel, the B&W treatment works best for this.

Brian Walbey: Thanks Astrid, I feel it has a bit of a graphic style about it.

Great capture ... works well in BW. richard
Brian Walbey: Thanks Richard, bit of a change from the "misty" style of water.
They are very impressive Brian and this detail works well in b&w
Brian Walbey: The whole falls are impressive Bill but I found this detail a bit more pleasing.

great capture Brian would never consider using a fast shutter speed with water but will think twice now seeing this freezing the water like that has made for a superb image, well donesmile
Brian Walbey: The Editor of Amateur Photographer wrote the other day about the endless shots of misty water than end up in his office. I like to think he would have this refreshing (that wasn't meant to be a pun.)

That looks like to me a dramatic water symphony. I like it.
