photoblog image Country Walk

Country Walk

I recently featured a collage of Thoresby Hall, Nottinghamshire and also some pictures with my wife in the picture.

This combines the two with Maureen walking along a path by the lake in the grounds of the house, on a lovely sunny early Autumn morning.

This is so inviting and therapeutic, Brian. I especially like knowing that's Maureen on the path! smile
Brian Walbey: Thanks Ginnie, hopefully we will be back there this year to enjoy the same stroll again.
Classic composition well taken- there are theories about people who create images of paths wending off into the distance (desire to escape, seeking adventure in the unknown etc!!) so don't tell Maureen! wink
Brian Walbey: Thanks David, after all these years, 37, I think I'd be lost without her, we've just about got used to each other!

Walking with Maureen must be very special, I love to walk with my husband for hours and hours, and doing so in this beautiful surrounding will be great, thank you or sharing this picture.
Brian Walbey: It is a nice spot to walk Astrid, and behind the trees on the left is a big lake.
37 years for us to in November Brian, so it looks as though we both did one thing right in 1971!

Supermodel Maureen leads us nicely into the picture.
Brian Walbey: Thanks Bill, our wedding was Spring Bank Holiday Saturday at the end of May so we beat you to it by about 6 months. Seems a long time ago now.

37 years thats some achievement Briansmile, and she has added so much to the scene which is lovelysmile
Brian Walbey: Thanks Tim, I remember that it was a lovely day and a nice walk.
Nice to see some green (horizontal snow going past the window) and a path to lead anywhere the boots will take you, nice one Brian. Congrats on 37 years to you both. We (another Maureen) went through 40 years last Boxing Day. Cheers, David.
Brian Walbey: Thanks David, my Maureen always says it's not a name you hear much of these days so it's nice to hear of another one.
