Ready for the Pilot

Taken at the same time as my postings on 8th.February and 1st.March, this is another shot taken at the Aeropark at East Midlands Airport.

The propellor I used in "Reach for the Sky" is of course the one from this plane.  I was lucky to get a good sky behind befor the rains came.

Still trying borders out this week.

The border works well, and I like the simplicity of the plane.
Brian Walbey: Thanks Jewlya, yes I quite like this particular border, trouble is I can't remember which one it is!

The borders have been fun to see, Brian. But but but, I sure hope that's not a bull's eye for someone's target practice!!
Brian Walbey: Thanks Ginnie, no doubt the bull's eye unfortunately mad a good target during the war.
I azm a fan of war birds Brian. I love your picture!
Brian Walbey: Thanks Richard, unfortunately it was surrounded by loads of other stuff so this was the only decent picture I could get.
These borders look good Brian. Nice picture too
Brian Walbey: Thanks Bill, I will cut back on these border try outs during the next few days but I am pleased there are proving popular.
Great plane, good capture, you can just make out the camouflage on it as well.
Brian Walbey: Thanks Les, yes it seemed to have been well restored although I am not sure if it is airworthy, I rather think not.
