photoblog image The Old Boathouse

The Old Boathouse

This was taken near one of the beaches on the Llyn Peninsula in Wales and I think deserves the B&W treatment rather than the colour.

I really like how awkward the building looks.
Brian Walbey: There were several sheds like this in a row but I think I picked the mostinteresting one.
Just needs a few bob spending on it ... lovely. richard

Brian, this is a really nice picture, love the border and the totall view, the scene is very well spotted and captured, great job again.
Brian Walbey: Thank you Astrid, glad you like the border, I thought this was a bit unusual.

B&W, absolutely, Brian. And I love the burlap-fabric feel to the framing. That's very cool.
Brian Walbey: This doesn't look anything like this in coulour Ginnie, I think I made the right choice of presentation this time, including the border.
It's beautiful! Excellent job on the b&w. The contrast is beautiful and I just love the framing.
Brian Walbey: Thank you Jen, for one of those shots you think won't be up to much I am pleased people like it.

I think the hessian-effect frame works OK with this one. Love the picture smile
The B&W works well for this Brian and the frame does compliment the image. Well seen.
