Back to Back

Or should it be "Front to Front" or indeed "Nose to Tail". Taken at the Great Central Railway last year I liked the clash between the two colours of the locos and their slightly different shapes. I don't often take pictures of diesels by the way.

This could be a first Brian, I don't think I have seen a diesel picture on here before, you could be accused of encouraging me to look in my archive for some though. If memory serves me right a Type 24 and a Type 31, last time I saw D5830 it was standing forlornly in a siding on the GCR, must be a few years ago now.
Brian Walbey: D5830 is still standing forlornly in a siding at Loughborough Les together with several others including a "Peak".

But you just did a very good job here, love the colors too.
Brian Walbey: Thank you Astrid, as Les says diesel's dont seem to feature anywhere much unless you ara a real diesel enthusiast, which I'm not.
Interesting capture of meeting two old friends. .
Brian Walbey: Thank you Gishan, unfortunately I don't think they get moved very much these days.

Good shot Brian...some people like Diesels (apparently!)
Brian Walbey: Thanks Bill. Never was much of a diesel fan myself.
