This is the first of a series of pictures I took along the coastline of the Isle of Wight during our June holiday, this one being at Alum Bay, the site of the famous Needles lighthouse. This is at the top of a quite high cliff and the chair lift takes one down to the beach below, at a price, which is famous for the layers of different coloured sands in the cliff itself. Before you ask, no we didn’t!!
