Kilworth House Hotel 1/7

We spoilt ourselves for my 70th.birthday last year and had a night at Kilworth House Hotel near Market Harborough, Leicestershire. The hotel has a magnificent open air theatre in the grounds and we were able to enjoy a performance of South Pacific, a show I took part in myself many years ago, during the evening after dinner. This is taken from the parkland, you can just make out the hotel through the trees.  Thanks very much for all your comments on my last weeks postings while we were away having a great time in the Isle of Wight. I got to read them all on my tablet but find it not really suitable for making comments on your pictures, many of which I also took a look at and thoroughly enjoyed as usual.

Looks like you have ramped up the colour intensity a little, Brian.
Brian Walbey: Just a tad Ray.
I love all the mature trees, Brian!
Brian Walbey: Yes they have some lovely woodland close to the hotel in the parkland.
What a beautiful perspective in this light Brian!
Brian Walbey: Thanks Richard, this was pre the rain for the evening performance in the open air theatre!

Lovely isn't it, the cedar tree is a joy to the eye
Brian Walbey: Beautiful isn't it.
very fresh green field
Keep taking the tablet Brian.
I can just picture you singing There is nothing like a dame Brian
Brian Walbey: I hope you can Bill because I did along with quite a few other guys. Actually it was in 1981 and our choreographer was an ex Tiller Girl who really could dance, and she got us bunch of blokes, each with two left feet, and with lots of practise we performed a routine I've never forgot doing, we brought the house down every night, one of the things I've done on stage I will never forget to be honest.
There are lovely trees here.
Brian Walbey: Just part of a larger area in the parkland next to the hotel that is covered in lots of lovely trees.
These are beautiful grounds........a lovely shot Brian smile
Brian Walbey: Thanks Martin, it is of course an older private estate now set up as a hotel and lots of nice trees come along with it.

It looks very grand, Brian. The performance of "South Pacific" must have been very special for you.
Brian Walbey: It is very grand Alan, and expensive. The performance was excellent, trouble was having done the show back in 1981 I kept singing the songs to myself all the time, that always happens if I see a show I've been in myself.
