River Exe Cruise 7/7

There are a lot of works going on at the quay side in Exmouth, places being knocked down and up-market apartments, rather like those I showed on Monday, being built, much to the dismay of the local people I believe. As we floated slowly in to moor up I managed to grab a few shots of this diver about to descend in to the murky depths. Unfortunately we had passed by before I could get a shot of just his helmet out of the water.

This is my posting number 2,300 since joining Shutterchance in December, 2007.

Well captured Brian: there's a lot of money in waterside apartments these days
Brian Walbey: Thanks Chris, if you Google Exmouth waterside apartments you will see some of them go for 7 figure sums, and many for 6 figures, don't think I'll be getting one somehow.

I don't think much of his shark cage; that won't keep much away wink I can't believe the cost of some of those apartments from what you're said before. I bet some are just used by weekenders or maybe even just in summer.
Brian Walbey: Well I know it is quite pleasant to look out over the river estuary but it's not exactly that stupendous, I just wonder where people get these silly sums of money from, it's never seemed to come my way.
better them then me
Brian Walbey: I just cannot imagine anybody wanting to do this for a living.
A very nice triptych Brian. Well done indeed!
Brian Walbey: Thanks Richard.
The cage saves a lot of work for the diver. I would like to see more people available on shore for assistance if needed.
Brian Walbey: I did think at the time there was only one person on the dock, and one with the crane, I would expect to see more in case of emergency.
