That's really an elegant thing, isn't it!
Brian Walbey: This one is, some of the other "sculptures" certainly weren't, but then I'm a bit of a "Philistine" where modern sculptures are concerned!

I hate to use the word interesting Brian, but I really do wonder what it is meant to represent
Brian Walbey: My thoughts entirely Chris, I'm a bit of a "Philistine" where modern sculptures are concerned! Wait until you see "Ecstasy" later in the week!!

I 'spect this is as tall as an adult, Brian? I wonder if kids play inside of it???
Brian Walbey: Slightly shorter than the average adult Ginnie. I suspect there would be ructions if kids started playing about with any of these "sculptures"!
nice piece of art
Brian Walbey: About the best of the bunch as far as I'm concerned, I'm a bit of a "Philistine" where modern sculptures are concerned!

I like this, does this piece of art move by the wind too?
Very elegant and wonderful colours.
Brian Walbey: About the best of the bunch in my opinion Astrid, and no, it doesn't move.

Interesting and intriguing, Brian
Brian Walbey: That's one way of putting it Lisl, I'm a bit of a "Philistine" where modern sculptures are concerned!
Really nice shot Brian, I like how the metal is softened by it's surroundings smile
Brian Walbey: About the best of the bunch in my opinion Martin.

It reminds me of the Sci-Fi series Under the dome Brian.
Brian Walbey: I'm glad of that Chad, I'm not a sci-fi fan to be honest although I liked this a lot better than some of the "sculptures" on display.

I usually visit this open air exhibition every year ... but for some strange reason I have missed it this year
Brian Walbey: I'm a bit of a "Philistine" where modern sculptures are concerned Richard, but a few of them I found reasonably attractive, but I did enjoy my first visit to the gardens.

Did you play with the ball, Brian?
Brian Walbey: No I didn't Ray, I did wonder if it actually dome anything, I'm a bit of a "Philistine" where modern sculptures are concerned.
It is a leftover from a Dr Who set.
Brian Walbey: If you think that of this then wait till you see some of the other "art" they had on show.
Mmm - I rather like that smile
Brian Walbey: I don't mind this one, some of the others in the series leave a bit to desired for me at least.
Indeed, a bit arts for arts sake.
Brian Walbey: Just wait until you see some of the others John, this is one of the better ones as far as I'm concerned.
So beautiful and elegant Brian! Great capture.
Brian Walbey: I'm not a fan of modern sculptures very much although I do find the interesting compared with some of the others because it is symmetrical.

Ah yes... hmmm... modern art... hmmmm.. If it's he same that was in Co. Durham in 2011, then its 1700mm high by 1200mm in diameter.
Brian Walbey: As you might have read I'm a bit of a Philistine where modern art is concerned although I do find this quite attractive.
THis is really nice Brian!
Brian Walbey: Thanks very much.
Nice lines and reflective quality Brian
