This is the final week of images from our holiday in Porthmadog, North Wales in early September and for that I am returning to Porthmadog where we started out a few weeks ago.
This is taken from a Ffestiniog Railway train shortly after departure as it crosses the Cob, a high embankment built across the river estuary, and a really good picture of the Cob can be seen here
Bottom right you can just see the road which also crosses the estuary here and which, until recent times, was a toll road, 5 new pence a time if memory serves me correct.
