photoblog image A Saturday At Sudbury Hall 5/5

A Saturday At Sudbury Hall 5/5

The National Trust had a "freebie" day recently and we took our Grandson to the Museum of Childhood at Sudbury Hall near Uttoxeter.  I will show some of the building later but once again I took the opportunity to try some candid shots.

A little collage of the changing visitors to the same seat over the course of a short period of time.  I didn't think about this until I got home and looked through my shots or I would have taken more.

Shock horror, I have used a texture for the second time in a few days, I will not make a habit of it.

We are away until tomorrow, I will catch up when I get back.

Your getting much braver Brian
Nice Brian, interesting selection AND texture.
great collage
Yes very candid Brian.
Nice bit of time lapse photography Brian
People just doing what they do. A nice collage Brian
I once started a project of shooting a picture of the same bench every day at around the same time for a year. So you would end up with 365 pics of that very bench. Didn't quite work, as very often the bench was not used, and I had shots looking the same, (an empty bench) for days in a row.

By the way, I really don't understand your reluctance for textures.
Brian Walbey: As I said this didn't hit me till I got home and looked at my images Marion, then I wish I'd have taken more. Re textures I don't mind them being used as a background like this but I am not overkeen on them being embeded in the image itself and taking the attention away from the quality of the image, I suppose it is over 40 years of camera club work where I see lots of excellent pictures with the moods created by the image and not extra bits and pieces, and of course, within a club the tesxture must be one taken by the author and not taken from a download etc.
Nice collage, and a great idea, too. (:o)
