Looks a nice little harbor!
Brian Walbey: Yes it is, quite afew miles inland from the sea though, it is what we call a canal basin.
Jolie vue sur ce petit port.
Brian Walbey: Thanks Martine.
You know how much I love narrow-boats, Brian, but this one seems to have found its own cozy niche. How special.
Brian Walbey: Not very far from where Bill and Ange live or Croome Court.

I like the old stone quayside Brian.
Brian Walbey: Those stones in the foreground seem to have had a lot of wear.

This is a famous place - they make a sauce here, that is world renowned. And the have a nice old harbour, from which to export the sauce ...
Brian Walbey: I muts admit that suace isn't one of my favourites but this place was quite a pleasant one to spend some time.
Nice picture of the basin Brian. Only down the road from me but apart from visiting a friend there I seldom go to Stourport
Brian Walbey: We enjoyed our visit and found a very nice tearoom for lunch as well.

Oh, this is a long narrowboat and so many others, but no people.
Brian Walbey: It was very quiet that day Philine but I suspect it is busy in the summer and at weekends.
I would love to see such a thing.
Brian Walbey: Our canals and canal boats are, I'm sure, completely different to anything you have over your way.

This was a major hub in the days of canal trade. Good toes it quite busy with pleasure boats.
Brian Walbey: I'm sure it was Alan by virtue of its position in the canal network. There are a lot of boats there but none moving during our visit.
A hint of industries now gone.
Brian Walbey: Indeed Tom, althouhg, like a lot of other Midlands towns the canal basin is now given ver to recreational boating.
Love this!
