TWO FOR TEA

A few shots I finally got round to processing after our gathering in September, I hope they revive nice memories.

The Tea ceremony...
Brian Walbey: Something like that Ray.
Two very friendly faces! Did Chad steal Maureen's purse?
Brian Walbey: I think Chad must have been guarding it like for Norma, I don't know where Maureen had hers, she has a habit of occasionally leaving it behind. I lkke the way you American ladies call it a purse and our ladies call it a bag, the purse being the thing they put their money in inside the bag.

They both enjoyed being the centre of attention .i think. Chad most certainly did.
Brian Walbey: Actually we were all gathered round the cutting of the cake, sounds like a wedding doesn't it.

You could have called this The Cake Eaters after the painting The Potato Eaters. I know which I would rather have Brian.
Brian Walbey: Cake beats Potatoes any day.

Well done on Maureen choosing to sit away from Chad - very wise of her smile
Brian Walbey: I'm not sure if they were on the same table or seperate ones to be honest.

I see there was also some other cake apart from Penny's colourful birthday cake. I like the pictures of both of them.
Brian Walbey: I don't know where Chad's cake came from but Maureen had bought herself a Scone to have with her tea, she'd forgotten there was Chris's cake on the way.
It was a great day and it is nice to be reminded Brian
Brian Walbey: It was and thanks bill, I entirely agree, here's to the next one, I hope.
The expression on both their faces is almost identical, Brian. Nothing beats a good cup of tea, especially when accompanied by cake & scones.
Brian Walbey: Thanks beverly, it's nice tor ead you Canadians enjoy afternoon tea like we do. BTW the lady is my wife Maureen, she loves Scones but fights against havign the Jam and Cream!

It's good to look back, Brian
Brian Walbey: Indeed Lisl, hopefully you'll feel that way after Thursday??
I like the symmetry here, Brian. Well done.
Brian Walbey: Thanks Mary, pure accident that both images seemed to match each other.
diptych works for me smile
Is there a reason for the grimace?? Perhaps the sun behind you??
Brian Walbey: Thanks Rob. I think Chad was surprised anybody wanted his picture, the lady, my wife Maureen, can never resist a Scone and a cup of tea.
