Kimmeridge Panorama 1/2

The first of two tasters of my series featuring Kimmeridge Bay, Dorset coming up the week after next.

With all this lovely sunny weather we've had our Lavendar in the front garden is really a joy to look at this year.

Jolie vue qui donne envie de s'y promener.
Brian Walbey: It is a beautiful part of our south coast Martine and a nice place to visit.

I love your Kimmeridge picture here, it's a cracker
Brian Walbey: Thanks Chris, we went here after a couple of hours at Tyneham, which I featured a while ago, altogether a fine afternoon out.

What a fine sight - and your lavender in the garden is a real delight!
Brian Walbey: A great place to visit and the Lavendar has now 'gone off' a bit, Maureen says she will trim the dead flowers off and it will bloom again later on.

Both delightful, Brian
Brian Walbey: Thanks Lisl. The Lavendar has now 'gone off' a bit, Maureen says she will trim the dead flowers off and it will bloom again later on.
Fine pano, Brian - and lovely lavender.
Brian Walbey: Thanks Tom. The Lavendar has now 'gone off' a bit, Maureen says she will trim the dead flowers off and it will bloom again later on.
A lovely view Brian, never been there.
Brian Walbey: Long way from where you came from Frank, we only go down that way because Maureens brother lives in Poole, just along the coast.

A popular spot with divers; some old wrecks in the bay, I believe. Are they still pumping oil ashore there? Its been a while hence I've been to Kimmeridge.

As regards the weather, surely you mean "lousy sunny weather"? Far too hot and unpleasant for me sad
Brian Walbey: It is a nice place to visit, despite it being a Sunday it wasn't overcrowded. I don't mind it being warm, but when it gets to hot i stay indoors unless I really have to go out.
This is really beautiful, Brian! As is your garden!
Poor, Alan - can't enjoy the weather while you've got it - it'll soon go...
Brian Walbey: Thanks Elizabeth. The Lavendar has now 'gone off' a bit, Maureen says she will trim the dead flowers off and it will bloom again later on. I'm like Alan, I don't mind it being warm, but when it gets to hot i stay indoors unless I really have to go out.
I love this tesselated pavement. I would love this place.

My god! The lavender is stunning!
Brian Walbey: I thunk you said the same a while ago when I had a 'taster' image posted. The Lavendar has now 'gone off' a bit, Maureen says she will trim the dead flowers off and it will bloom again later on. You will have to talk gardens with Maureen when we meet in September.
