Maybe blue is an unlucky colour
Brian Walbey: Lucky or not it is my favourite colour.

Not a name I'm family with. I always used to use Duckhams oil; I wonder if you can still get it? Thee days, I rarely need to lift my bonnet never mind get my hands very dirty of what were black oily lumps.
Brian Walbey: Duckhams was bought out by BP a long time ago and it faded out thanks to them. Now a new orgaisation is once again producing their best brands for classic vehicles. I only ever check the oil and water plus the washer water and tyre pressures, I wouldn't know where to start with anything else!
Perhaps he thought 35 was the speed limit?

I googled him and he only entered 2 races and failed to qualify for either.
Brian Walbey: I found that about him on Google also, probably one of those drivers who pays for the drive even though they haven't got the talent. We have been to classic bike races at Darley Moor circuit near Ashbourne today, on a quick look I think I have a few decent shots for SC later on this year.
you captured the motion well, Brian. i am highly impressed with your shot from back then
Brian Walbey: Thanks Ayush. In the 60's, 70's and 80's I took several thousand motorsport shots, mainly bikes, on slides, negative and monochrome, I was quite heavily involved with motorcycle racing for a long time in that I was the commentator at several circuits for about 14 years at amateur level meetings.
Woo - that's blue!
Brian Walbey: My favourite colour Tom.
