'Scene' At Hawkshead Village 5/7

Decorating the high street in front of a chocolate and ice cream shop was this fellow, sadly our bus was due any minute so we didn’t have time to taste the ice cream! This is a go in and try shop, a phrase from their website says “It’s not just the kids that get to enjoy the fun at the Cocoa Bean! We have created special truffle making workshops just for adults – and just like the kids, you can take home all the 14 delicious chocolates you make and just to make it extra special we provide you with a glass (or 2) of Prosecco!”

We are off to Borth-y-Gest, just outside Porthmadog, North Wales, for a week tomorrow, will catch up with you all next weekend after we return, if not before, the weather forecast is awful! In the meantime I hope you enjoy the 'cornucopia'  of colourful images I have left for you to look at next week.

J'aurais aimé gouter tous ces chocolats.
Brian Walbey: So would I Martine smile
Who can say NO to a purple cow, Brian. HA! Enjoy your week away in North Wales. That would be delightful, bad weather or not, I should think?!
Brian Walbey: Thansk Ginnie. We are taking plenty of reading matter and DVD's.

I like the composition here; the cow appears to be about to enjoy the ice cream and flake. I can't read what the caution is about but I guess it is stating the obvious of not climbing on the cow.

Enjoy your trip. I've looked at the BBC forecast and the weather looks OK after Sunday. Take no notice of it anyway; for our Isle fo Wight weekend its as supposed to have been heavy showers but we had wall-to-wall sunshine during the day with just a thunderstorm late one evening.
Brian Walbey: Yes the notice is about climbing on the cow. We can't do anything about the weather but it might hinder our plans, I'm not keen on spending £80 for the two of us to ride the WHR and look out the window at the rain pouring down. We might call in at the Llanfair and Welshpool on the way home, they have a weekend gala.

Now I wonder what "Milka" will do if they see this cow. In Europe know the purple Mika cow.
Besides that, I think this is a wonderful eye-catcher and too bad the bus was on time.
Have a great time next week and I hope they are wrong about the weather.
Brian Walbey: You've taught ne some thing I didn't know today Astrid. We hope they are wrong about the weather as well, it is a lovely little place we are staying at.

Wouldn't it be interesting to try some!

Borth-y-Gest looks charming
Brian Walbey: Sadly we didn't have time.

The Milka cow (Milka chocolate) is also violett, and funnily or sadly, some children in our time are thinking cows would have a violett coat.
Sounds like you wish your bus had been late!

Have a good trip to Wales
It is certainly eye catching!
Have a great time away. I have looked at all the photos of this week and will refrain from commenting on them to keep from overwhelming you. All wonderful, of course.
