Stapleford Park Country Fair 6/7

Besides the miniature railway at Stapleford Park there was an extensive country fair so a few shots from that this week. This lovely old 1928 Foden steam lorry arrived mid-afternoon. Somebody where I live has one of these and occasionally he drives it round town during quiet times at weekends.

It's traction engine heritage is clearly evident here. So very different from the Sentinel steam wagons. I'd love one of these.. oh, and the space to store and the money needed to maintain it!
Brian Walbey: Great machines aren't they.
