Magnifiques paysages. Les explications sont très intéressantes.
Brian Walbey: It is a very popular place to visit, people go there hoping they will find fossils.
This is beautiful - is the water really that blue?!
Brian Walbey: It is a lovely place to visit, and yes, the water was that colour on that day.
Lovely place Brian.
Brian Walbey: Well worth a visit Frank, a long way from where you are though.

Did you know an Iron Age shale working was established in the bay to produce bracelets, which were polished with beeswax to resemble jet
Brian Walbey: That's interesting Lisl, I can imagine all that shale would be just what they needed.

A fine location. I like this, looking in opposing directions..
Brian Walbey: I'm sure you are very familiar with it, I thought this was a good way of showing the bay bearing in mind the 'tasters' I've posted previously.

What lovely views of a cracking part of the world.
Brian Walbey: Thanks Alan, I'm sure you are quite familiar with Kimmeridge.
Fossils...and dinosaurs, Brian???
Brian Walbey: One of the best places in the country for finding fossils of various types hence it has a lot of visitors.

The area is renowned for its fossils - so that is where Chad's old age home is situated?

It is a beautiful area.
Brian Walbey: I'm not sure Chad woild appreciate that remark Louis, but he does have a sense of humour so he no doubt took it in the way it was inteneded smile This is a lovely part of our south coast and well worth visiting.
This is of great interest to me and very beautiful too.
Brian Walbey: You've said before with my 'taster' postings you liked this place, it really is a nice place to visit and very interesting, tomorrows posting is one of the reasons why.
I'm liking these diptych's
Brian Walbey: Thanks Rob, it is something I do quite often rather than post a long series.

One day I would like to visit this area, which is a favourite part of South-England for Chris.
Brian Walbey: I am sure you would really like to visit a lot of places on the Dorset coast but ideally your have to get on a servcie bus or have ones own car.
Wow, talk about a photogenic area. I imagine, Brian, that there must be more than a few walking paths along the cliffs to take in those stunning views.
Brian Walbey: Our South West Coastal path goes along the cliff top here, Lisl has walked it several times I believe and so has Alan Rolfe, we just done this short bit smile

i like the short, straggly looking grass in the left foreground, although i also like the smooth, rolling landscape in the distance, Brian.
Brian Walbey: It is a nice spot to visit Ayush.
