Very little advertising on the Ferrari back then, unlike now!
Brian Walbey: These days they look like mobile billboards!
Thank you, Brian! And happy birthday, Kev!

Today there's more advertising than there is car..
Brian Walbey: These days they look like mobile billboards!
These remind me of Matchbox cars we used to play with, Brian. smile
Brian Walbey: Indeed they do Ginnie, I never thought of Matchbox toys being sold in the states, did you and your siblings have races with them round the yard smile

It looks like he took a large cup of coffee with him Brian.
Brian Walbey: It does doesn't it. It is an edge of track marker that is blurrd and therefore looks like a tea urn, unless of course jacky got thirsty during the race and took his favourite brew along with him smile

Your Kev doesn't look bad for 40 years smile

Lovely Ferrari action.
Brian Walbey: Kev is a very fit man, he does a lot of running, including this http://brianaw.shutterchance.com/image/2014/04/18/kevs-marathon/ He runs to and from work sometimes according to his shift pattern (8 miles each way) and to top that he is a really nice man, our daughter is very lucky. Re the Ferrari they must be about the longest competing team since F1 started.
I know it is an illusion but it looks as if he has a keg of beer in front of his face
Brian Walbey: It is a track-side marker that is blurred and looks like a tea-urn, unless of course he got thirsty during the race, I wonder where he kept the cup and saucer smile
Great action shot!
Brian Walbey: Thanks Tom.

I thought ay first that the car was being driven by a driver wearing a tin guzunder! So much coming out of racing cars has made its way to family cars.
